Arguments

All “good-hearted” arguments and debates, if continued, will eventually come down to the defining of terms or definitions. Good-hearted means that neither arguing party has the intention that the other party “lose” or be harmed.

When all “hot words” or debatable terms are sufficiently defined then those definitions are either agreed with or disagreed with. If the definitions are agreed with then the argument or debate will vanish. If the definitions are disagreed with then the parties will “agree to disagree” and the argument or debate will also vanish.

If one stays away from arguments with others that have “win/loss” intentions and if one has satisfying definitions for oneself then it becomes possible to have a life completely free from arguments.

Some of the most poorly defined terms are those relative to “personal values.”
