Capital Punishment


Actions like capital punishment, murder, executions and, of course, war occur as an uncomprehending identity continues on a ‘downward spiral’ of disempowering interpretations along the anger spectrum. The identity interpretations of a painful past, fearful future, enemy and specific events that are ‘beyond’ the self-responsibility horizon lead it to move steadily down the anger spectrum until violence and destruction in all its forms are eventually chosen.
