Ones’ power of intending can be used for something or against something. A not-want is an intention against something. The power of intending is such that as one holds the intention one receives more of whatever is intended. Thus as one holds a not-want intention one receives more of the experience of not wanting! This steadily increases the intensity of frustration and anger and drops one lower and lower on the anger spectrum.
