Fearful Future


The identity’s purpose is self-preservation. Identity logic is “past predicts future.” I.e. to note painful experiences and manipulate life as a constant guarding against them being repeated. Or, to note pleasurable experiences and manipulate life in a constant expectation of them being repeated.
