Religion
The immense range of spiritual aspects falling under the term religion can be clearly understood by analyzing the intentions of the practitioner.
For example: a) the intention to have believable concepts or, as in the case of atheism, not believable concepts relative to spirit. b) The intention to relate spiritually in either a conceptual or experiential way. c) The intention or not to receive answers or guidance and in what way or by whom.
In its simplest definition religion is a group of relevant ‘interpretations of life’ regarding the relationship between spirit and oneself. Transformationally, religion can be interpreted as devotional communication, meaning, ‘speaking with’ and/or ‘listening to’ spirit or both…...
Worshipping Religion
A religion in which the direction of devotional communication goes only from the participant to spirit as in prayer.
Mystical Religion
A religion in which the direction of devotional communication is two-way, as in, from the participant to spirit and from spirit to the participant as in prayer and meditation. Both directions are characterized by devotion.
