#9: Some Q & A:

From a recent very nice email conversation:

Dear Greg,

I would like to ask your thoughts/opinions/insights of a question I still ask myself...... While I have learned to befriend ego (with love and compassion); to set ego aside when necessary (netti, netti) and, to listen without judgment; I still seek a clearer understanding of exactly what voice I hear in the seeming continuous battle of that voice within . Will my voice unnoticeably change to that of my higher self or will my human voice (ego) always have its say? In other words, will my will ever return to source (God's will)?

You are asking about something very beautiful which also nicely anticipates where we will be going soon, which is to the feelings.

In that experiential place which you are sharing about, the awareness becomes less about the voice and more about your feelings. From a certain point of view your will is already with God. You just don't feel it yet. The feelings of joy, ecstasy, love, happiness etc. which we tend to associate with our enlightenment or god-realization experiences (I call them, collectively, " illumination experiences.") are not present yet.

I would say (and feel free to correct if not quite right) that instead you are feeling something we might call "a longing for home" which is often BOTH sweet and sad. If so, allow this longing, allow the sadness and the sweetness. And best, allow the tears if any. This is one of the best ways ever to demonstrate to the ego the true benefit of where we wish to take it.

As we become more and more successful at quieting the ego-voice and entering the silence what we are feeling takes on great importance. In many ways the ego-voice keeps us as busy as it does to avoid feelings or at least to keep them a little under control. Unfortunately there is, in general, still great fear relative to strong emotions and feelings. Paradoxically, intense feelings properly guided as in passion for example, are the source of " joyful empowerment" and literally move mountains. How to do this is really what the work is about in its initial phases.

The ego-voice (or human voice as you say) will always have its say which is why it is so important to allow it, with non-agreement, to do so. But, there is very good news also. As the ego-voice trusts that you will listen, its tone begins to change. Notice that when you tell yourself a good idea or say something totally cool it's the same voice! When the ego-voice learns to serve you, rather than you serving it, it becomes quite a useful resource.

Dear Greg:

You hit the proverbial nail on the head!!! Just reading the words "a longing for home" brought tears to my eyes. In fact, without even thinking about it, I say these words every night before I sleep. Even though I know everything will happen as it should and that every experience is perfect in every moment, this feeling does touch my heart deeply. I suppose the sadness turns to sweetness as my truth is completely understood through awareness and only when its purpose is fulfilled -- a process. But what about those miracles? I still believe in miracles.

Great! It's very nice to be moved to tears in good ways.

You don't have to wait a long time for the sweetness. The more you just allow the sadness to be present, the more the sweetness can be present also. They go together.

For sure, believe in miracles! They just arrive a little differently now then in the past.

When Jesus walked on water there were few roads or bridges, no airplanes, no UFO's, no anti-gravity possibilities and for sure no good hiking boots, so being able to walk on water instead of getting wet and muddy was a big deal (and also probably why getting your feet rubbed and oiled when you got home was such a gift!) So it was a great way for those times to demonstrate the power that is in all of us.

Today, miracles arrive through synchronicity and flow. And they happen when intentions are fully empowered. (Kryon calls it "pure intent.") When everything is just right, poof! The phone call, the email, the new relationship, the perfect job, perfect openings for all sorts of things to say nothing of miracle healings (e.g. spontaneous remissions...)

Just as in your "Lesson of the day. " which you shared with me about giving to your group, the Christ inside of us is deathless and eternal BUT ALSO wealthy, creative, productive, gorgeous, hot, sexy, super successful and fun ......etc! (Have you noticed that religions teach "poverty, chastity and obedience" and those are the direct opposite of money, sex and personal power? J The true-self wants to be happy.)

Miracles come more and more easily as you "identify" with that Christ rather then "identify" with the ego. That is why separating the true-self from the ego-self is so valuable.

Miracles also take the form of events that DIDN'T happen! How many times have we heard about how much WORSE something seemingly SHOULD have been? Big example; Armageddon and doomsday were predicted by just about everyone in the business of making predictions. They were supposed to happen and they didn't. Our successful raising of vibration dropped them out of the collective "quantum probability wave!" We could actually have a party about it!

Or consider "NDE's" and the incredible contribution these people make. They simply DID NOT die and they were supposed to. What made Raphiem or any of the others want to come back? Collectively, we raised the vibration to resonate with what he and Blue have to say such that this particular voice of love and information can actually exist here.

And individually, we raised our own vibration to bring them into our personal quantum field. We could have easily chosen something else to do with our time. :-) And if enough of us chose other things instead, Raphiem might have chosen something else also.

Adding to the dilemma, miracles are only miracles if we don't understand how we received them! It's the same with disasters and catastrophes but that's a difficult topic which directly relates to our actual levels of perceived empowerment and victimhood. I.e. just exactly HOW powerful do we see ourselves to be?

Thank you Cindy for a beautiful and fun conversation.

Much love and much peaceā€¦.. greg
